Mailman on Stadium.

Today I was walking to my car after class and being miserable. I had my coffee mug in one hand, exposing it to the below freezing weather. I was only focused on getting to my car, but was completely distracted by the man delivering mail on Stadium. He had to be in his 60's, was carrying a messenger bag full of mail to be delivered, and was decked out in running gear. The man was jogging on his route. I passed him a few times while walking, but just because he had to jog up stairs to get to the mailboxes. I immediately thought of the Ikea commercial we watched in class yesterday and Feinberg's advice to manage our time better. The mailman was doing that. On one of the passes, I said, "Getting a work out in, eh?" "Might as well, I'm getting paid for it!" He said. I laughed and kept walking, wondering what else I could be doing at the same time.
The idea of constant multitasking can be a stressful one, though. It gives me a sense of desperation, that I have to be doing something productive at all times. It makes me feel like I'm running out of time; that I might miss out on something; that I might not get everything done.
BUT I also get a lot more done that way.
